About ERYLDENE MOTHER’S DAY OPEN WEEKEND & CELEBRATORY TEAS | SATURDAY
Mother's Day Celebratory Teas - SATURDAY
Bring out your best frock, hat and gloves. Treat your grandmother, your mother and mother-in-law, best friends and children, and enjoy the leisurely pastime of taking tea in the serenity of the beautiful camellia garden at Eryldene created by Prof EG Waterhouse between 1914 - 1977. Sit down to embroidered linen, fine china, and homemade delicacies reflecting Mrs Waterhouse's Sunday afternoons 'At Home'.
The Garden Cafe will not be open, but Mother’s Day Celebratory Teas will be served both days from 11.00am
Enter Mrs Waterhouse's domain with Eryldene's volunteer guides and housekeepers, and hear about the life of the Waterhouse family, the role Eryldene played in the art, horticulture, architecture and academia of Sydney through much of the 20th century, and the way Mrs Waterhouse managed it all.
