The Stony Six and Milk - The Band

About The Stony Six and Milk - The Band

Local band the Stony Six are bringing some of their bestest friends and fabulous musicians – Milk, the Band - from Melbourne to the iconic Meeniyan Hall. The two bands will co-headline in this Sunday afternoon, Cup weekend concert.

Milk’s strong songs are written by band member singer and guitarist Helen Begley. They have an earthy, punchy Australian flavour with vocals by Emily Hayes, double bass by Greg Craske and guitar by Poppy Turbiak.

The Stony Six play buoyant, contemporary acoustic music. They deliver originals and inventive covers with warmth and playfulness. Based in South Gippsland, The Stony Six are community musicians who know how to uplift and connect a crowd.
