Join us at the Tailrace Centre for our ‘fun’draising event to raise vital funds for cancer research, treatment and prevention projects for Tour de Cure.

Our Sonya’s Wish event is to honour one of our greatest supporters here in Launceston who sadly lost her nearly 4 year battle with ovarian cancer in July 2025. Sonya’s desire was to continue to support Tour de Cure in getting money to researchers so that future generations may have a world where cancer is something you live with, not die from.

Sonya’s Wish is a music bingo/bingo night with the Mistress of Mayhem from Trivia People Tasmania hosting an uplifting and fun night!

Guests can book and nominate who they would like to sit with, or book a table of ten.
Each table will have a generous platter of delicacies on it - drinks will be available to purchase.
A raffle will be available and a few amazing (but affordable) live auction items.

Tour de Cure is a nationally known not-for-profit organisation….since 2007 through cyclists riding crazy distances, and fundraising events the numbers are amazing. We have raised over $145million, funded nearly 1200 cancer projects and this has led to 197 major breakthroughs. Each year on tour the cyclists visit schools to promote the Be Fit, Be Healthy, Be Happy mantra to educated students that 1 in 3 cancers can be avoided. The tour also donates $10,000 in each small town it visits to a local community cancer support group to help them care for their patients. The Signature Tour 2026 is Canberra to Hobart, 1400kms in 9 days 12-21 March. We have created the Sonya’s Wish team of riders and support crew to participate in this epic adventure.
