The Missing Binks will open this night of Indie Rock and Blues at Whyalla’s favourite Live Music venue; Lefties, with Adelaide bands; Blue Lucy and The Kavs headlining the show (The Kavs being made up mostly of former Whyalla locals, inc Jake Beinke)
Blue Lucy are Adelaide's very own Kung Fu Kelly Inspired Indie Rock Ensemble. Fresh off the release of their sophomore EP "Cigarettes & Forget" as well as a blistering East Coast tour, Blucy Lucy are prepped and primed to bring their high octane, high energy live show to the iconic Whyalla Left Hand Club in the heart of the Steel City. With songs that will take you from an emotional high, to a psych trance, to a good old dance floor boogie; Blue Lucy are an act not to be missed.
The Kavs are a bodacious and salacious four-piece rock band hailing from the Western Suburbs of Adelaide. Fusing together funk, punk, psych and indie rock influences, The Kavs are masters of punchy grooves, catchy hooks and wild jams. Recently releasing their self titled debut EP, The Kavs are on a heater with their balls to the wall live show sure to bring some general hip-shaking and head-bopping vibes to the town where it all started for the band.
The Missing Binks are a staple in the local Whyalla rock scene. Known for blending their rock and blues inspirations into tasty jams, hard hitting rhythms and wild guitar solos. The local boys are masters of their craft, and never fail to live up to the expectation of guaranteed foot-tapping and stank-faces from the crowd.
