About WHYALLA BLAZEAID FUNDRAISER

BlazeAid has a dedicated history of 10 years of voluntary community help and support.
Not just rebuilding fences but helping rebuild lives” The ABC through BlazeAid patron Macca (Ian “Macca” McNamara) has helped find volunteers for fence rebuilding in rural areas since 2009, and his Australia All Over and Macca on a Sunday Morning radio shows have recruited hundreds of them. Base camps are set up in numerous rural areas from which volunteers are co – ordinated with equipment (from donations) and farmers in the area who work with them to rebuild fences or other damaged structures, often staying for months and lifting the spirit of the community as they rebuild. Sometimes these communities are in their 2nd or even 3rd flood, fire or drought event.
ALL PROFITS (INC BAR) AND RECEIPTS FROM RAFFLES, AUCTIONS ETC. WILL GO DIRECTLY TO BLAZEAID TO ASSIST WITH THEIR KANGAROO ISLAND RE-BUILD EFFORTS
