About WINERY WALKABOUT 2022
THE OLDEST WINE FESTIVAL IN VICTORIA!
Since 1974, thousands of people have descended on Rutherglen for one of the biggest wine festivals in the country. A general admission ticket to Winery Walkabout gets you access to wine tastings, live music, entertainment, tours and more at over 18 wineries, making for an epic jam-packed, fun-filled long weekend!

GENERAL ADMISSION
These tickets give you your entry wristband, your Walkabout glass for tastings, and access to all the participating wineries, wine tastings, live music, entertainment and more!
¹ These tickets do not include access to our shuttle or regional bus.
This ticket is to be exchanged at the Rutherglen Showgrounds or your selected winery for a festival glass and wristband, which must be worn at all times.
SHUTTLE BUS + GENERAL ENTRY
Starting your day from the Festival Hub (at the Rutherglen Showgrounds) our Shuttle Bus service gives you unlimited hop on/hop off access to the buses servicing participating wineries. You can jump on any bus and visit your favourite wineries without needing to worry about a designated driver! You can even use our free wine check in service: check in your purchased wine with the bus driver and they'll safely store it for you at the Rutherglen Showgrounds for you to pick up at the end of the day, so you don't need to carry it around.
Use our specifically designed bus tracking software throughout the weekend to see how far away the buses are.

REGIONAL BUS + SHUTTLE BUS + GENERAL ENTRY
We offer a regional shuttle bus which services Corowa, Wahgunyah, Yarrawonga, Bundalong, Mulwala, Wangaratta, Chiltern, Beechworth, Howlong, Albury and Wodonga.
Return drop off buses leave 5pm sharp from Rutherglen Showgrounds. For more information about the various regional pick up points please CLICK HERE.

DESIGNATED DRIVERS
Are you the designated driver for Walkabout this year? Awesome! You're welcome to enjoy the festival for free – No need to buy a ticket, just make sure you register at any participating winery to get your white DD wristband and your 2 x free tea/coffee/softdrink vouchers.
Remember to bring along a water bottle to make use of our free drinking water throughout the weekend.
Please note: Designated drivers are not able to consume any alcohol at Winery Walkabout - wineries will not serve any alcohol to those wearing the DD white wristband. This is event policy, and all DDs at this festival must have a BAC reading of 0.00.
CHILDREN
Young children are welcome to attend this event but it is not advised. Children do not need any tickets to attend Winery Walkabout. Parent/Guardian supervision is required at all times while at participating venues.
All ticket purchases incur a 3.85% booking fee.
