Two dynamo multi-instrumentalists, Jeri Foreman and Grace Honeywell, are stepping into the spotlight with their debut duo album, The Allure of the Honky Tonk, releasing October 22, 2025. An homage to tradition, modern-day music making, and life on the road, the album reclaims bluegrass music through the voice and lens of two women who struck out into the world in search of something more. Taking its title from the bluegrass classic She’s More to be Pitied, the record blends country classics, contemporary bluegrass songs, and striking originals that trace a shared story: leaving home, chasing adventure, weathering heartache, and finding joy on the roads less travelled. From Foreman’s celebrated fiddle mastery - steeped in Scottish, Bluegrass, and Old Time traditions — to Honeywell’s voice as a singer-songwriter infused with Americana, and folk sensibilities, the duo create a sound that is fresh, fearless, and deeply rooted. Grace Honeywell (from Ashland, Oregon, USA) and Jeri Foreman (from Adelaide, South Australia) will celebrate the album release with a 5 week tour of Australia. Both now spend a lot of their time in Glasgow, Scotland – where the album was made. The tour starts in Sydney on 22 October and concludes in Adelaide on 30 November. They have been playing to much acclaim across the UK, including the largest world music festival in the calendar, Celtic Connections 2025.
