About Brendan Hains - Plays The Guitar Greats

Brendan Hains is a guitarist/composer with over 40 years playing experience. 

He is highly accomplished in a number of musical styles including world music, jazz, gypsy jazz, blues, classical and minimalism.

Brendan’s 2006 solo release: ‘Modal Nomad’ featuring a set of unique original compositions received widespread public and critical acclaim.

He is regularly featured in Australian Guitar and Guitarist Australia magazines and is included in Ron Payne’s book ‘A Twang Dynasty- A History of Australian Guitar.’ 

This concert will feature acoustic and electric guitar repertoire from many of the greatest guitarists of all time including; Stevie Ray Vaughan, Kenny Burrell, Paco DeLucia, Al Di Meola, Robert Fripp, John Mclaughlin and Django Reinhardt.

This concert will be assessed as a part of an ANZCA Fellowship Performer Diploma.

A number of Australia’s finest musicians will feature as guest performers including; Jeremy Alsop, Chris Young, Valentino, Sharky Ramos, Julien Wilson, David Pittaway, Craig Beard, Dean Frenkel, Raj Singh, Wayne Monger and The CS Music Guitar Circle.
