About Big Blue Event
This event aims to raise funds and awareness for mental health. This October, Mental Health Month, we’re inviting you to fight the stigma of mental health.
It is estimated that 45% of people in Australia will face a mental health condition throughout their lifetime, so this event will help us have open conversations about mental health.
The night will be set up as a trivia night, with games and prizes to be won. All proceeds go towards Beyond Blue. How will the money be used? The Beyond Blue Support Service is reliant on our community donations and so your participation means Beyond Blue can be there for all people in Australia, with advice, support and follow-up care, 24/7.
Come for a social night out with your friends, get a group together! Arrive at 6:30pm if you wish to order a meal from the Kooringal Hotel. Drinks can be purchased from the bar on the night. Don’t forget to bring cash for our raffle tickets and prizes! We have over $1000 worth of prizes to be won on the night!
