Granite Town - Moruya’s Funky Little Festival:  Dance-your-heart-out music, art, culture and delicious food on the banks of the pristine Moruya River.

Opening on Friday October 28, 2016, from 4:00pm, to Sunday 30, 6:30pm, Riverside Park, Moruya, a talented and eclectic, weekend-long line-up of great Australian music, with a strong Jazz-rooted, funk and reggae sound to captivate young and old alike. 2 stages of live music, IMB Riverlights & Eat Street, the Horizon Lifestyle Village, Camping, Champagne Breakfasts, and Guided Tours all add up to the full shebang of festival experiences!

Get your groove on at the HUB!  Dance, move, jump, fling, think, feel, chill-out and bask in the best and the quirkiest contemporary music around - eat your fill of delicious food within the large, grassy fenced GT Main Stage HUB zone - buy a beer (or bubbles) at the bar and revel in the funky GT vibe with friends and family.

The lip-smacking offerings of Eat Street on Friday afternoon - a pop-up dining precinct of delicious local and further-flung fare - will whet the appetites of thousands gathering for the IMB Riverlights lantern float:  a radiant display of community built, giant, illuminated floating sculptures towed by kayakers and paddle boarders on the Moruya River at dusk.  Five months in the making, these remarkable luminous artworks are a reflection of a truly collaborative community both in spirit and in action.  A traditional Welcome to Country and carnival atmosphere of fire-twirlers and roving performers will see GT2016 open with a bang!

All day Saturday and Sunday The Horizon Life Style Village, a mini-township of massage, relaxation and wellness right on the river’s edge will feature stalls, activities, lounge areas, a 2nd smaller stage and a separate bar/coffee house to provide a little TLC and breathing space from the HUB main stage. 

Full weekend Camping on the riverbank will be offered in 2016 - just walk to the action right next door and join the party, or head back for a kip to last out the weekend.  Book your space well in advance to take advantage of this awesome accommodation option.  Bus transport from neighboring towns may be organised depending on interest.

To top it all off, GT will be offering the opportunity to participate in a Gourmet Champagne Breakfast on Saturday and Sunday mornings, complete with live music, as well as Guided Tours showcasing local Indigenous culture.  Book your place in any of these activities at the time of ticket purchase on the website.  Limited places available.

Important Ticketing Notes:

¹ Primitive Camping: Maximum of 6 people per 5mx5m site.  Parking zone adjacent to camping area - No cars in camping area. You will need to show proof of purchase and collect Fri/Sat/Sun wristband or 3 Day Package wristband from Festival Office. 

² Champagne Serenade Breakfast or Guided Tours: you will need to show proof of purchase and collect separate ticket from Festival Office.

³ VIP Ticket Package includes: 1 weekend ticket; access to VIP seating area with table service in the main venue; 1 Champagne breakfast; 1 Festival TShirt; 2 Drink Vouchers; 1 Riverlights/Festival Program; 1 Riverlights hand lantern.

⁴ Canberra Student Package includes: 1 weekend ticket; 1 weekend camping pass; and 1 return bus ticket ex ANU.

⁵ Children under 12yrs are free when attending with a paying adult. Children under 12 will also be required to wear a wristband which can be collected from the Festival Office.

- Please print your ticket and bring it to the Festival Office at the entry to Riverside Park. This ticket will be scanned and exchanged for your festival wristband.

- Pensioner/Student prices apply to current Pensioner/Student card holders. Pensioner/Student concession cards will be required to be shown when collecting your festival wristband.
