About Marshmelody
Important Announcement - Marshmelody Festival Cancelled
It is with sadness that we must announce that Marshmelody will no longer go ahead.
State Emergency Services have advised us to cancel the event due to concerns of worsening bush fire conditions in the coming days. Following this advice we have made the decision to cancel the festival.
There is no immediate danger on site and everyone is safe and well.
Ticket Holders should contact Marshmelody at refunds@marshmelodyfestival.com.au to initialise the refund process for tickets purchased.
Thank you all for your support and we are deeply sorry for any inconveniences this has caused you.
Sincerely,
The Marshmelody Team.
Marshmelody invites you to join us for our inaugural festival of sustainable, solar powered music and art from the 23rd to the 25th of January 2016.
Featuring a live program running across two stages from the 23rd to the 25th with music, dance, circus and variety. A fully dedicated children’s program of workshops, activities and entertainment. Luscious all Tasmanian bar and yummy fresh local Tasmanian food as well as a colourful marketplace of clothes, crafts, trinkets and curios. ALL OF THIS POWERED BY THE SUN!
Marshmelody will be offering a limited number of tickets for Friday the 22nd of January for those preferring to arrive early. Gates will open in the afternoon on Friday with chilled out entertainment in the Forest Lounge and our all Tasmanian bar open for business. This will give you the opportunity to ease yourself into the festival spirit, set up camp and make yourself comfortable without fear of missing any of the action.
Camping is situated in a field along the meandering bank of Jackeys creek a short stroll from the main arena. Ample space is available to set up your camp but sites are allocated on a first in basis, so make sure you show up early to get the best spot. If you want to camp with friends, make sure you arrive together. There is also a limited amount of car-free camping available immediately adjacent the main festival arena, for people who ride their bikes, car pool or use public transport.
