About Melissa Otto Concert – Fundraising for Northpine’s 2017 Cambodia Trip Projects
A group of Year 11 & 12 students are trying to make a difference in the lives of others. Northpine Christian College is sending a group of students to Cambodia in the 2017 June / July holidays. This concert is to raise funds for the community service projects these students will undertake.
Through the generosity of numerous individuals, we are able to bring to you Melissa Otto. Melissa is a singer / songwriter whose music has captured listeners around the world with her beautiful melodies, deeply personal lyrics and soothing voice. She is passionate about using the gift of music she has been given to bring people hope and comfort in God’s character. “I am amazed at God’s desire and ability to use us faulty vessels to carry the important and beautiful message of His true heart for us – we are weak but He is strong”. Melissa chooses an organic and refreshing style to carry this message.
Melissa was nominated for best songwriter and awarded best Christian artist in the Music Oz Awards. She has travelled extensively with her music including tours to USA, Europe, Hong Kong, Singapore and Brazil.
From 6pm there will be a BBQ tea available to purchase which will also help this Cambodia Storm Co fundraising event.
The Concert will take place at Northpine’s Performing Arts Centre.
There will also be other opportunities for those who are willing and able to give a little extra on the night, to help our students as much as we can, to do the best they can, in spreading joy in Cambodia.
