About Devil Country Muster 2018
The Devil Country Muster, now in its sixth year, is Tasmania’s premier Country Music event.
This year's festival features great contemporary and country artists from all over Australia, including some great Tasmanian talent.
This year the Muster welcomes for the first time Beccy Cole, Shane Nicholson and Libby O'Donovan, as well as the return of crowd favourites Amber Joy Poulton, along with Sonny, Stuie and Camille French.
We also welcome Dale Duncan, the bush balladeer from Tamworth.
Dave Prior from Adelaide makes a comeback this year - after five years - as our entertainer and MC.
Tasmanian artists making a comeback this year include Debbie Parry, Gina Timms, and Justine Barber, Chris and Viv Boys.
The Devil Country Muster is having a complete overhaul for 2018, moving the entire show to the Trawmanna property on Mella Road, Smithton.
The show has expanded to three days, with a Friday, Saturday and Sunday Show.
The Friday night show hosts the Talent Quest finals, selected headline artists, plus the popular Walk-Up Muster, where all comers get their chance on stage.
The main show on Saturday is a single outdoor show from morning to night. Headline artists make their appearance during the afternoon. The night promises to be a lot of fun, featuring Dave Prior, Dave Hawkins and the local band Cool Train featuring Sherry Rand.
Sunday morning will be the debut of the Country Gospel Show, hosted by Gina Timms.
Camping is available at the festival site – fees apply. Payment can be made at the venue.
