Attention Mothers, Grandmothers and special ladies in our kids’ lives! You are invited to a beautiful day out with fellow Woodleigh ladies from our Minimbah and Penbank Campuses.

8:50am – Come and watch a very special School Assembly dedicated to Mums (at both the Minimbah and Penbank Campuses). Always a heartfelt occasion; come and join in the fun!

10:00am – Jump on the bus! Our first destination is to the beautiful Whistlewood Gallery in Shoreham for a private viewing and drinks and nibbles.
Whistlewood, an atmospheric 1870s weatherboard cottage in the rural hinterland at Shoreham overlooking Western Port Bay has been the home of the McCulloch family since 1951 when founding director of the Mornington Peninsula Regional Gallery director, critic and author the late Alan McCulloch AO and his wife actress Ella Bromley McCulloch bought the house on their return to Australia following an extensive overseas sojourn. Over the last six decades Whistlewood has been host to many arts luminaries and features art, books, memorabilia and the studio of the late Alan McCulloch which he and Arthur Boyd designed and built in 1951.
Today, Whistlewood is both a family home and gallery featuring Australian Indigenous art from more than 25 of Australia's leading Aboriginal-owned art centres as well as select abstract Australian art - selected by its current owners - art writers and curators Susan McCulloch OAM and Emily McCulloch Childs.

11:30am – Back on the bus to Montalto Vineyard and Olive Grove for lunch!
Enjoy a guided tour of the Montalto Kitchen Garden then a walk through the sculpture park, followed by a scrumptious sit-down lunch.

3:15pm – Arrive back at Minimbah and Penbank for school pick up.
