About Lost Highway Karuah Bluegrass Music Festival 2016
The Lost Highway Karuah Bluegrass Music Festival has built up a reputation as an ideal place for bluegrass players and enthusiasts to gather.
The mission of the Lost Highway festival is to create a festival where musicians, residents and music lovers can gather to enjoy acoustic music, share ideas, learn new music skills and enjoy a weekend of performances in a beautiful setting. Punters also have the chance to indulge in local food, fresh oysters, crafts or a beverage or two at the bar, all contained within the festival grounds.
The Lost Highway festival is community run and endorsed by the Port Stephens Council, and has worked hard to keep a boutique local feel to the event with tickets at a very reasonable price. It is family friendly, relaxed and inclusive, with plenty of support and involvement from the local community.
