This is the ultimate night of fun, excitement and fundraising for the Mackay Hospital Foundation to support our regions’ local hospitals. Enjoy a fabulous, themed ‘night at the races’ with everything from photos, Fashions on the Field, bookies, fun money to bet and big screen to watch the races.  Race guides, bookies and betting slips will be provided on the night and various denominations of fun money will be available to purchase.

Come and meet our Foundation’s Board of Directors and other businesses on the night. All funds raised through the Mackay Hospital Foundation are to support our regions’ local hospitals.

• Fun money can be bought on arrival and EFTPOS facilities will be available on the night.


• You will be provided with a form guide.


• A dinner and drinks package is provided with tickets or sponsorship.


• A race manager will be provided on the night to explain how the races are run, where to find the odds for each horse (in the form guide), the rules for betting and how the overall winner will be decided.


• Entertainment on the night.


• Silent auctions on the night.


• A 'Fashions on the Field' contest (it can be as serious or silly as you like) with prizes and a fee for entrants to participate.


• Don’t worry if you run out of Fun Money - we will have buy-ins where once a ‘punter’ runs out of fun money, they are able to buy some more for a fee or donation.
