Come on down to devil country, to the beautiful north-west coast of Tasmania, for the Devil Country Muster. This whole day festival is the follow-up to the inaugural 2013 Smithton Country Music Festival. This event features great contemporary and country artists from all over Australia, including some great Tasmanian talent.
This is an RV-friendly event, with a cheap self-contained camping area available across town next to the golf course. Enjoy Tasmania, the music and the golf!
This year's featured artists (above) include Tamworth Golden Guitar winners and other highly awarded acts from all over Australia including Anne Kirkpatrick (daughter of Slim Dusty), and Bill Chambers (father of Kasey Chambers). Go to the Listen page to sample some of the top-notch talent that will be playing at the festival, or read up in more detail on the Artists page.
A number of Tasmanian artists have been confirmed for the early show, including the brilliant bluegrass act The Maclaren Family, the return of the duo Eli Perry and Jessie Arnold, and supported by the popular local band Charlie Don't Surf.
Mid afternoon, we will be presenting the second North West Country Legend, following on from John Turnbull's win last year.
Our headline act this year are the multi-award-winning Feral Swing Katz who will be bringing Tasmania's devil country a hoe-down like it has never seen or heard before!
