What a year 2020 has been....no wonder we are all looking forward to 2021...and why wouldn't we with the Rowley Cottage Sessions kicking off a calendar of events to acknowledge Myponga, 50 Years On.

January 30 marked the start of that famous festival - a lovely synergy.  To help get us in the festival spirit, the four piece Stardroppers will open proceedings with their own brand of acoustic rock, roots and alt country - "A little bit country, a little bit coast" We again are spoiled for musical talent, with front man Mr Steve Ashley, having recently been awarded ARBA's Roots Album of the Year 2020 for Into The Sun. Steve is joined by George Klironomos on guitar, Paul Turner on percussion and Rob Downing on bass.

To take us into the evening, we have a real wow-factor treat.....Don Morrison's Raging Thirst. Don is joined on stage with his sons Jake and Eddy on guitar and double bass, and Andy Przygonski on drums. This will be a blinder folks, and with Don's Fleurieu album launch of his musical anthology 40x40 (40 Songs In 40 Years), this will be a very fitting nod to Myponga, 50 Years On:)

This will be a COVID compliant event, so you will be asked to provide contact details for attending members of your party when purchasing tickets through Ticketebo. Presently, there is a COVID restriction cap on numbers for attending this event, so ticket prices will reflect this. This is a non-for-profit gig, with ticket sales going to the bands.

Hand sanitizer stations will be set up, and we would ask where possible, to be mindful of appropriate social distancing for the comfort and welfare of all.

Come and enjoy an afternoon of incredible music and a delicious BBQ in the gorgeous surrounds. BYO drinks and esky if required, and your favourite folding chair if you'd prefer (limited table and chair settings)! Music kicks off at 2:30pm.
