About The Rowley Cottage Sessions presents The Blue Katz, supported by Lindsay Buckland
Rowley Cottage and Ticketebo proudly welcome you to The Rowley Cottage Sessions, promoting and celebrating some of South Australia’s best musicians.
For the final Session of the warm weather season, we have a couple of treats to last you through the Autumn and the coming Winter hibernation.
Mr Lindsay Buckland is no stranger to Myponga, having maintained a 50-year association with those closely aligned to the 1971 Pop Festival which has resulted in him publishing the timely rock memoir ‘Myponga South Australia’s First Pop Festival’. Writing prowess aside, Lindsay annually tours Europe as one half of the music phenomenon The Famous Unknowns and brings his evocative world music to Rowley Cottage – thank you Lindsay.
“Arguably the world’s greatest blues and roots band in the world”, as self-appraised by the hip, happening and hilarious Blue Katz! Steve Gower, Stuart James Day and Billy Regione will provide more than just a bit of powerhouse performing to Rowley Cottage – these guys are fabulous, and we are so happy to have the three amigos finally playing at a Session. Thanks gents!
This will be a COVID compliant event, so you will be asked to provide contact details for attending members of your party when purchasing tickets through Ticketebo. This is a non-for-profit gig, with ticket sales going to the bands.
Hand sanitizer stations will be set up, and we would ask where possible, to be mindful of appropriate social distancing for the comfort and welfare of all.
Come and enjoy an afternoon of incredible music and a delicious BBQ in the gorgeous surrounds. BYO drinks and esky if required, and your favourite folding chair if you'd prefer (limited table and chair settings)! Music kicks off at 5pm.
