About Swarm Conference

Swarm Conference is Australia’s Community Management and Social Media Industry Conference.

Swarm is the longest running conference for community professionals in the world. APAC’s flagship community management conference connects local builders, thinkers, managers and makers with top international talent for learning, collaboration, inspiration and outcomes.

Swarm grew out of the Australian Community Manager Roundtables in 2009, and was founded by veteran community management leaders Alison Michalk and Venessa Paech to support and grow community management as a practice.

In 2024, we’re headed to Melbourne Zoo on Thursday 12 September, for yet another hybrid physical-virtual adventure. We’ll also be hosting 2 webinars in August to create a fuller program, and highlight some great international speakers.
