About St Patricks River District Bush Dance
The St Patricks River District are hosting a public Bush Dance and invite you to join in a night of lively dances, cracking music and songs by The Bottom Pub Ceilidh Band.
Have a rollicking good time with music provided by our talented & experienced musicians and a dance caller to keep everyone on their toes. It's perfect for all ages and abilities and infectiously good fun!
Featuring dances from Australia, UK and around the world, including Heel & Toe Polka, Gay Gordons and the Pride of Erin, there is no dancing experience required - the dance caller will take you through the steps before the band starts their lively tune and will guide you along the way too.
Dancing isn't all that's happening, you'll also hear songs and poems from our band members that range from classic to the knee-slapping including Lachlan Tigers, Rattlin’ Bog and The Diamantina Drover.
Doors open at 6.30pm.
Dancing starts at 7pm.
There will be a supper break throughout the night so please bring a plate of food to share.
Drinks will be available to buy on the night from the bar.
Free camping is available onsite.
For those who haven’t been to a Ceilidh dance before - here is a taste of what you are in store for!
