About The Susurrus of Seascapes: Art & Music from the Ocean’s Edge
The Susurrus of Seascapes | Music from the oceans edge
A performance exhibition pf paintings by Domenyk Clifford Eades and music by William Vyvyan Murray. Inspired by the Gibigiana of the sea - the famous Milanese word for the play of light reflecting from the water, two grand children of the famous artistic Boyd family combine the visual and the musical in a performance exhibition that pulls from the tidal states of the Southern Coast.
Join us for a musical program of classical and contemporary works by Ruby Hunter, Leilehua Lanzilotti, Gabriel Faure, Judith Hamann, Heather Dale combined with a new set of compositions by William Vyvyan Murray that explore the waters that gave birth to us all, and the looming problems in their depths.
In the Mission to Seafarers stunning Norla Dome, four performances spread across the afternoon and evening of Saturday the 25th and Sunday the 26th of March. The Mission to Seafarers address is 717 Flinders Street, Docklands, VIC 3008, Australia.
