About Guwayu Poetry Readings

Guwayu — a Wiradjuri word — means still and yet and for all times. Guwayu — For All Times is a groundbreaking collection, commissioned by Red Room Poetry, featuring 36 First Nations poets and 12 First Nations languages. Please join Wiradjuri writer, poet and editor of this stunning collection, Jeanine Leane, and contributors Evelyn Araluen, Yvette Holt and Maureen Nampijimpa O’Keefe and start the day with poetry.

Ticket revenue covers less than 15% of the cost of running the NT Writers Festival. Each year we keep tickets prices accessible and include free programs for the community. In the event travel restrictions prevent guests from appearing in-person, we plan to shift to a mix of video link at a live venue and in-person appearances where possible.
